Founder & PrincipalOcean Eyre Accounting was born from a simple but powerful idea: that clients deserve quality accounting services delivered with care, clarity, and a truly personalised approach. After more than 25 years working in the accounting industry, Rose made the decision to step out on her own—driven by a desire to better serve her community and provide a more personal, relationship-led approach to accounting.
Throughout her career, Rose had built strong, long-standing relationships with clients who trusted her not only with their numbers, but with the growth and future of their businesses. While working within traditional firm structures, it became increasingly clear that the level of service she wanted to provide—tailored, proactive, and deeply client-focused—was difficult to achieve within rigid systems. The inspiration to go out on her own came from a belief that clients deserve better: better communication, better access, and better support.
In 2026, Ocean Eyre Accounting came to fruition. What began as a commitment to do things differently has grown into a trusted accounting practice backed by family and a dedicated team.
Rose’s greatest passion lies in helping small businesses grow and flourish, supporting clients to achieve financial freedom and confidence in their decision-making. She lives and breathes her work—sometimes to her husband’s dismay—but, as she often says, “I love my clients and being involved in watching their businesses grow brings me so much joy.”
Cindy Parkyn
Account ManagerCindy's transition from retail and real estate to an accounting role highlights her adaptability and commitment to professional growth. Over the past 7 years, she's built a strong foundation under Rose's guidance, demonstrating a passion for community, particularly through her involvement with Foodland in Ceduna alongside her partner and her participation in a local sporting club.
Cindy's proactive approach to learning, especially in the agricultural sector where she initially lacked experience, showcases her dedication to understanding her clients' needs and her ability to step out of her comfort zone. By leveraging resources like Google and engaging openly with clients, she has effectively broadened her knowledge of agribusiness.
Her hands-on experiences at ram sales and in shearing sheds have further enriched her understanding, enabling her to better support her team and clients in fulfilling their business needs. This blend of initiative, community focus, and teamwork makes Cindy a valuable asset to her accounting role.
Account ManagerSarah Snodgrass
With over 25 years’ experience in accounting and finance, Sarah brings extensive knowledge to the practice. She qualified in 1999 through the Association of Accounting Technicians and has been an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) for 25 years.
Throughout her career, Sarah has gained extensive experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting and Office and Practice Management.
Sarah has built strong client relationships and takes pride in delivering practical, reliable assistance tailored to each client’s needs.
Having relocated to Ceduna in 2017, Sarah is now looking forward to meeting Ocean Eyre Accounting clients and supporting them with their accounting requirements. She has extensive experience in the preparation of tax returns, activity statements and payroll support.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys undertaking DIY projects and has a keen eye for home renovations and decorative design.
